Clean Needles Now

Clean Needles Now is a harm reduction program founded in 1991. CNN’s mission is to support the rights of people who use drug and their communities, especially the right to protect their own health.  CNN engages in direct service, political advocacy, public education and research to positively impact the lives of injection drug users.

Clean Needles Now’s primary goal as a service provider is to deliver user-driven, low-threshold harm reduction direct services that will maximize access to sterile syringes and safe syringe disposal, overdose prevention education, as well as a broad range of health and wellness services.

Our services include syringe exchange, primary health care including wound care, HIV & Hepatitis C testing, and STD screenings; Hepatitis A and B immunization, peer education training; overdose prevention education and Naloxone distribution. We provide safer injection and safer sex supplies and trainings for general health issues that apply to injection drug users.

CNN is also involved in advocacy and community outreach on issues that relate to the health and wellness of our clients.

We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested Email Us or call us at 213-483-5846.
